SEASON OPENER - UPDATES
12:30 PM EST - Round-1 qualifying
finished. Great day for racing. A little humid but okay. Carshow judging
beginning and still room for later comers. Calls to lane for Round-2 of
qualifying. Possible third round? Waiting for confirmation from
track.
10:30 AM EST - Tech inspection continues with racers returning
and a host of new racers showing up. First round of qualifying has been pushed
back and is scheduled to begin shortly. Carshow is underway and slowly
filling.
9:00 AM EST - Gates open for makeup event at Speed World
Dragway. Racers return to compete in the originally schedule April 18th event
that was postponed due to rain. Carshow competitors can compete in the Buddy
Club Carshow. Spectator tickets purchased at the rained out event will be
honored at this event only.
